What AI says

AI knows them. It recommends someone else.

The diagnosis ends with the live tests. We ask three fixed questions in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini and attach a screenshot of every answer. This is roughly how the section reads:

Question 1PASS

Does AI know the company?

ChatGPT and Gemini correctly describe what it does and where (2 of 3 engines required).

Screenshot of the answer: in the full report
Question 2FAIL

Does AI recommend it?

Asked for "a plumber in [city]", all three engines recommend competitors; the company is never mentioned. The report names which competitors, with screenshots.

Question 3FAIL

Does AI cite the website?

One engine of three cites the domain; the threshold is two.

This is usually the part that hits hardest. You can see, in your customers' own questions, that you're not in the answer.

Fixes in priority order

Three fixes take it from 70 to 90.

Every finding becomes a task, ordered by how many points it wins back for the work involved. These three add 20.5 of 103 points, enough to reach the AI-ready band.

01Add Organization / LocalBusiness JSON-LDName, address, phone, org.nr and service area, in one block we write for you, ready to paste.+10 pts
02Add an FAQ section with FAQPage markupThe questions customers ask AI, answered on your own page.+7 pts
03Add a meta description and the org.nr in the footerTwo lines that tell AI what the business does and which company it is.+3.5 pts

There's also a five-minute job on the side. Unblocking GPTBot at the firewall is worth only 0.33 points, but it decides whether ChatGPT's training data includes the company at all. The full list covers every failed check, and the implementation offer covers that list and nothing else. No "phase two" surprises.
